Single Vision Glasses
About
They have only one correction field, and therefore only correct one disorder at a time. For myopia, it will be a concave lens, refined in the center and thicker at the edges, to improve distance vision. For hyperopia, it will be a convex glass, thicker in its center and allowing to enlarge the images seen closely, as if the person was taking a magnifying glass.
Two types of Single vision glasses
- Spherical lenses, which are a classic version of single vision lenses.
- Aspherical lenses, much thinner and flatter than the first ones, which offer a higher sharpness and more aestheticism.
Glasses24 frames are equipped with aspherical lenses.
